illogic gates

There were many iterations this week before I got to this set up I'm quite happy with, its still a bit chaotic to work with but I think good enough to try some visuals for it now.

i love how the high parts of the synth lines get pushed out by the bass of the beat in syncopation like everything is all part of the percussion, yet still carries a vibe, and that voice sample in the middle perked my ears up all the more. nice one!

Thank you Raja! everything is super interconnected, but I found it so hard to control, but it was pretty fun, exploring weird clock combinations

I thought this was super cool. I've listened to it a few times now. I really enjoy the dark mysterious atmosphere of the whole thing, but I think my favorite thing is just how large the sound space is without it seeming like there is a bunch of tracks playing at the same time. The variety of sounds and the interesting rhythm seems to make it all add up into something much larger than the individual pieces. I had always though to get a large sound you would have to have lots of things going on at the same time, but it seems like this is an example where variety and sequencing do the job very well. Really great stuff!

The more I listen to this track, the deeper I get drawn into it. There is something peculiar about the rhythm, about this sparse kicks that double quickly, the weird high echo and different textures. This is like the love dance of some alien specy on a strange swampy planet.

Thank you kindly, I usually have just a few instruments but a lot of modules for logic and interconnecting everything, so it becomes like a little ecosystem, I'm really happy you were getting into it!

I agree with Saguaro. I would like the drums to be louder to get more impact, but awesome sound design and rythm.
