Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This track was my first attempt at truly making something minimal, a function of how much time I had this week to dedicate to it. I have always struggled with knowing when to stop adding, but this was a great opportunity to attempt just adding less.

I suppose it's just trying to make what you've already put in the project do what you want. I wanted some sort of delayed plucky texture in the background when the melody came in, so I repurposed the piano to do that. Also, reverb and environmental FX are king when there are few elements.
