kazoo nightmare dimension

By pibolib on June 5, 2022 10:55 pm

I had a complete track that I barely spent any time on originally submitted, but I made this song today after being introduced to this VST, which was way too funny for me not to use it.

Honestly, this track beats the one I originally made by a large margin anyways.

Some notes about the kazoo VST:
1. It's an effect, not an instrument. It "attempts" to "simulate" what would happen if you played that sound as humming into a kazoo, to varying degrees of success.
2. It can't do anything polyphonic.
3. It can't do any particularly fast or complicated rhythms, and even struggles with some of the rhythms in this song.
4. Sometimes it does just drop audio for no real reason.
5. It can only go up to a certain pitch (before it wraps around), so all of my notes on the instrument are pitched down an octave to fit within the range.
6. It sounds nothing like an actual kazoo. This is the best part.

Project time: 1 hr, 5 min.

Making a track with a kazoo lead is highly impressive, even more so when it's actually fun to listen to. Bravo.

sounds more like a kazoo wetdream!
