forest mage and city elves

By pibolib on April 17, 2022 4:25 pm

This week I wanted to try making a theme for one of the characters I'm creating. She's a mage who sells potions in an elven merchant town, which is where the title comes from.

I think there's been a bit of influence from Rigël Theatre in this one, which I think perfectly fits with the theming.

Project time: 2 hrs, 49 min.

Ooh, very fancy
So what's the setting like, kinda like Shadowrun?

I'd say it's close to D&D in its setting, mostly fantasy plus a very small bit of steampunk

Yea, I can see that, kinda like Final Fantasy

Awww yeah, sick bass line got me grooving (especially contrasted against that acoustic guitar). Sort of reminds me of Escape Goat smile

The melody that opens this piece up is instantly captivating. Love the bass groove and the bouncy stuff that comes in after the intro. I really love that the melody from the intro comes back in at 0:55. I really like the folky tonality of this piece. It's so good. Nice work!

If I were an elf, I'd play this song on my boombox while hiking through the woods to my homies house
