I really wanted to work on "Come with me" with Luke but unfortunately I was completely creatively blocked because I had heard the thing too many times in recent days. Even though Luke had sent me some really fresh and exciting upgraded vocals I needed to take some time away from the track to clear my palette.
More than that; I needed to blow off some steam, so hence the metallic drop. I love those metal drums and getting back to my heavy roots... I do also love that house garage swagger; and I thought I would play nice and make a tune that everyone could enjoy but then thought... "fuck it... who am I really doing any of this for" and decided to satiate my own sense of creative exploration...
anyway... I'm hoping to be a good boy next week and put in Luke's new vocals... should be an exciting time!
