Moving dots

An early Ableton exercise from 2012. Never found the proper bassline... I'm still searching smile

I've been training two people who came brand new to the air ambulance service... they're young, innocent and their naivity needs lots and lots of supervision. Not a single time in the whole week to sit quietly and make music, so I had to make this on Sunday evening trying not to fall sleep. Mixing is a little bit overdrived, but I should be in bed right now, so no more tweaking

And in the meantime, I became 43 last Friday.

That's a lot to all the people that listened and dropped by. Please forgive me for not answering the comments, it's just that I simply can't handle everything right now.

Lots of love to the WB family around the planet, giving the best of them no matter what. Be safe and happy this week smile

Happy birthday, dude! This track is super chill, I love it smile

Happy birthday, bro. Stay healthy and happy with your family and your airy job. I am working in the ambulance service on the ground in a hospital now and wish I could escape into heaven from time to time. Maybe you can take me with you, when you are close to Germany, please.

great vibe and drum work... Maybe the absence of bass was the proper baseline all along?

happy birthday!

Thanks a lot, Mission Crossing! The track came out OK in the end. I'd loke to add a little variation every 4 or 8 bars instead of just "make a drum fill", but I'm happy I took one more song out of the "unfinished" bin smile

Again, thanks a lot for the continuous feedback and the positivity smile

Vielen Danke, Q-Rosh! Das wäre mir en Vergnügen smile (And sorry for my bad german grammar)

It would be nice to exchange impressions, mate. The crossover between eletronic music and healthcare/emergency services is small in general around the Internet smile

Thanks for the good wishes, Codydjango!

About the bassline... maybe yes, you have a good point. I think in the end a bassline would give it a certain need or expectation of a whole developed track, though without is somewhat a "fake" intermission feeling, like 2 musicians jamming in the studio smile

The percussion on this track is really cool! Super tasty, the sound is awesome - the snare!

You work on helicopters for rescue or transport between hospitals? That's very cool!

Happy birthday! Smooth track.

Happy belated birthday!  I can relate to the struggles of training new young team members, can be very frustrating, maybe we are just old but I find they feel very entitled.  The beat has a very nice shuffle to it, great little melody on top of the beat.  I hope you are doing well and I see you haven't been on here the last couple weeks, miss your sounds, hope to see you back next week.
