The Same World - Colorful Grey (Phil's Bassflex Remix)

By PhillipeGrishin on September 7, 2014 11:24 pm

"You taught me once
that we live in the same world after all
when I look at you
I see
I see

All that I see in you
is all the world
is all the world"

Basically this is a weekly beat - I just heard it and it grabbed me immediately... I pretty much lost my shit when I heard it.. but once I got my marbles back in one place I politely asked if I could have the stems... and Christian (Colourful Grey) seemed open to the idea letting me get my grubby mits on his composition... so here we are... some beat slicing,  bass dropping and sample shreds later we got what sounds like an a piece of enlightenment in a vortex....

supper greatPhil to Colourful Grey who was kind enough to entrust me with his vocals and take the time to help me nail the synth part... and was just generally just a cool dude to talk to... Lute on!

also... I think this was his first beat of the year with his vox on it... so... mad props homie!!!

big_smile Thanks bro!

The original song is still in my iPhone, on a regular rotation... This one is great, indeed. Lute meets the woobly dubsteps... And those voices!

Man, really nice work. And Colorful Gray is indeed a true gentleman.

wohoooo! Just landing after this heavy trip. Absolutely amazing what you did here. This sounds super polished and fat. The drop kicked my ass so hard. The stereo buzzes later on almost melt my brain. Sonically a hell of a track!

Whhaaaaaaaa! Very nice indeed

Whoa.

Love it.

I think you really caught, nay, polished the atmosphere of the song, and it shines more now than in my version. Awesome. I'm at work now with crappy speakers but I will listen to it again later with actual bass.

Amazing! Everything works perfectly together, and the vocals work wonderfully in their new context.

hehe smile I meant that THIS TRACK SENT ME ON A TRIP!

After hearing it with more bass, I am even more impressed. I don't want to sound all weird'n stuff but it's makes me all warm and fuzzy that music is shared across the ocean this way. Thank you Phillipe! By the way I played this to my kids. They were rocking out :-)

Thanks dude!

awesome job, love how you built up the monster beat with the vocal sample.  It kinda has a chill prodigy feel to it.  At least that's what jumped out of my tiny brain smile  Those are some warm sounding synths, nice job!
