The cool synthwave like vibe is deliciously retro but why I like the most are that some of these leads are highly misleading, finishing on notes I would not expect. And there is minor and major and it goes all over the place. That keeps the song fresh and it keeps you on your feet. Cool one!
Glad you liked it.. the song is pretty much solidly in the key of D#.. I did make use of some secondary dominants in the B section but did not stray from D# forlong. I did purposely use the minor ii chord to start the B section though to give it a minor feel.
