WEAK THIRTY THREE

By PeterM on August 18, 2024 12:26 am

So no time this week for music. My usual Sunday afternoon is booked with something else and Saturday was full too. So I managed to squeeze in a couple hours Saturday night to try to make something. I tend to always fall back on these plucky tunes when I'm short of time ... somehow they seem to be very forgiving, at least to my ears! Anyway, it kinda came together but I'm not super happy with the melody (or lack of) and the overall repetitiveness. But it's a decent result for not much time invested ... which I heard was kinda what this whole challenge was supposed to teach us how to do!

Anyway, congrats on another week and I'm looking forward to hearing what you all came up with!

very nice plucky track!

I think this is great! It really is hard to keep this whole thing going with limited time. I don’t think it’s too repetitive and I think we can be too hard on ourselves trying to fit too much into the short timeframe. The repetitions here suit the track. Really do like it!

Thanks! Yeah, I just listened to this again, and I am much happier with it now. I think I just find my stuff repetitive because I'm hearing it like 1000 times as I'm making it. Thanks for the feedback!
