NOCTURNE OPUS 27 NO 1

By PeterM on September 7, 2024 3:23 am

Uploading a few days early this week so I can head out on a camping trip with my family over the weekend. I might be back Sunday afternoon, but I know I'm not going to have the time or energy to make a track then. So here it is!

This week I did a cover of Chopin's Nocturne Opus 27 No 1 or at least a cover of the beginning and the ending. The original song is a masterpiece and this arrangement I've made is not attempting to capture the soul of the original ... I was just looking to have some fun with the themes and give them some new terrain.

Anyway, you be the judge, but I had some fun putting this one together and I'm somewhat pleased with the outcome.

Congrats on another week down! There's a chill in the air these days, to the end is on its way!

I do not know the original, but I can tell you made a great track. It's easy to get lost inside, it's got a strong drive, and I ended up wanting more!

cool to hear Chopin in this frame. love that distorted synth that comes in @ 2 mins
hope the camping trip ruled!

change @ 4 mins, hell yeah we're flying now

super cool cover! I agree with jwh, @ 4min 🚀

Deep, dark and subversive Chopin for the cyber world of tomorrow. Very Nice!

Thank you! Yes, the camping trip was a hit ... a bit wet at times, but enjoyable for sure.

Haha! Thanks! You can thank Chopin for the idea, but I tried to give it a bit of a chippy victory theme feel for after the darkness lifts.

Thanks! "Subversive Chopin" sounds like a genre I could get into, hahaha!
