Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Let the M8 random name this one. I'm sort of embracing the low effort music it seems. This is a semi-noodle with my piano's e-piano preset. I have it going through a Lost & Found pedal with some tape effect and some ambience. Added a bit of shimmer in the M8 too.

Knew I recognized the M8 shimmer! It's a nice noodle. Maybe some field recording or other texture would be enough to fill in the "blanks"
It's minimalist, but it does a good job at evoking a mood. It feels a little somber and contemplative.
