I'm Alright

By Pescadito on February 4, 2024 8:48 pm

Hi all! It is good to be back after 1.5 weeks of flu and sore throat.. last week I did not manage to publish any song 'cause I was to weak and sick.

So, this week I decided to say: I'm alright! I recovered. The sickness makes you realise how good to be healthy and be able to eat, sleep and breath normally.

This time I experimented with some singing and choruses. I also tried to add a mandolin layer and classical guitar. The classic guitar is in drop D tuning with capo at 5th fret. I also recorded bass and electric guitar. Enjoy it!

Glad you are feeling better, and happy to have you back. This sounds very good. The music fits with the lyrics very well. I like the "i'm alright" hook with the reassuring lower voice coming in. Nice work!

SO GLAD YOU ARE! big_smile What a lovely composition! The "I'm alright" hook is also my fav part, the lines have a nice structure and flow and when the vocal harmonies kick in it's a real feel good moment big_smile  and let's not forget the nice little catchy guitar line that comes after "I'm alright"!

I like the drums and mix too, with the panned guitars. The bassline is also cool but a bit boomy, would be nice to hear it more clearly cause I can tell you are doing some cool things. Guitar solo is calming and healing! Love that there's a bridge too, this is a sweet song! Thanks for sharing! big_smile

Great track, glad you are feeling better.
