nice to keep active with an impro submission! the recording sounds great! the chords are a little random like floating with the waves in whichever direction.

I think this kind of layered impro shows how important it is that musicians react to each other, cause when you layer your own playing you can only react one way. unless you leave space ahead of time (basically a real-time composition which is hard to do) there's not much to do about it.

an idea is also to keep switching layers, re-recording the first one with the reaction of the reaction until it becomes a bit more like two parts playing together, but it also involves a lot of takes... I never did it but some guys talked about it in improcamp
