Unfinished Blue

I really struggled hard with this one. Like with a lot of my tracks i tend to overload them with many little details and then have problems to bake them in properly. There are some rhythmic changes throghout the track and i feel like they are still very clumsy. Maybe i can iron them out in a possible more polished and composed version. But for this week it has to do the job.

I know what you mean -- but you handled the transitions very nicely, IMHO. Like the vocals as well.

Besides, I'm I'm a sucker for smooth speed changes.

I don't think your transitions are sloppy in any way, IMHO. Everything feels quite well assembled.

Anyway, it's true that your songs have tons of layers, although I don't feel them overloaded. Would be interesting to see you working with just two or three tracks and one send, anyway.

Well done!

Excellent textural work!

The vocals work really well in the track.  Musically a bit busy perhaps but it still works a treat  smile

Thanks a lot! I guess that would be a very tough job for me smile But i will try hard to decimate my number of tracks smile

thank you so much guys for your time and feedback!

More layers the merrier .. sounds pretty damn neat to me smile

It's interesting to hear about your feelings regarding the music. It sounds great to me, but I think there is always a balance between [finding your style/staying true to yourself] and [pushing self outside comfort zone/getting "better"]. Both are important efforts. It can be really frustrating at times to see what kind of music "comes out" and how that may be different from what one would want.

I once read that Stephen King was asked why he writes all those horror stories, and his response was, "Do you think I have a choice in this?" Always found that helpful.

So that being said (bla bla bla, sorry), I liked this song and I liked that it was slightly messy. It was definitely your style!

Always great hearing your stuff. Sieben zu eins Alter. Das wird noch was.

A lot of things going on in this track, but as a whole I think it works very well, I like it.
It is quite possible it could be more polished, but that is often the nature of Weekly Beats.

I def get the same feeling now and then with my own tracks.  But this is sounds friggin awesome!
I think that's the beauty of Weekly Beats.
I would change a thing really with this.  I loved the flow and the bassy feel throughout.  The piano outro especially.  Keep on keepin' on!

This is fantastic work. I love when that bassy texture comes in in the beginning. There's so much going on in here. It's a beautiful mess! smile Cool vox and excellent artwork.

Love this, Favourited!

the high-end sounds a bit busy, yes. I think the drums could use some more lo-fi and more filtering maybe. otherwise, great song!
