Le piano a besoin d'etre accorde

This weeks entry is a little bit more experimental. Some time ago i had the chance to do a recording session with an old upright piano and some great equipment (unfortunately not mine 
). I did a load of "unusual" recordings like knocking on the case, treatment of the piano strings and sounds of the piano's inner mechanics (and of the creaking chair). By using different stereo pairs of mics on different positions at the same time i could play a lot with the various recordings and room informations of each sound afterwards. So this week i took the opportunity and did some processing and arrangement work with these sounds. All sounds you hear are made of these recorded piano samples.
