Intrusive Thoughts

The last few days of the year are usually a time of reflection and hope for the new year. No hope from me this time around, just dread. This track reflects that.
There is reflection though. The past year has brought a willingness and permission to experiment and release things that are more and more outside my comfort zone. I discovered that the music I want to make, need to make, is very different from the music I typically listen to. The process of making has become its own, separate thing. And it’s been awesome.
The three of you that sat through my week 50 will recognize some elements here. I felt they fit, so I either slightly modified them or kept them the same.

Recorded and mastered (to the extent of my limited skills) on Logic Pro for iPad.
Speaking of Logic, it has become my go-to mixer and recorder, supplanting AUM.

. I like this. It is a little menacing, but I picture some exciting dungeon dwelling here. Maybe dark creatures ahead ... or maybe magical things. This bass hits, damn nice job on that. I like all the little accent sounds throughout. This could be good soundtrack!
