So a friend of mine received a MC-909 this week. I went to the bottle shop where he worked with my m8, sampled as much as I felt, and started working on a track. I stated 3 tracks and they all sounded like 90s house, a vibe that I wasn’t feeling this week. On Friday I dropped the tempo and added a swing, breaking the house spell these samples put me into. The bass line is from the FM synth on the M8.
The most exciting news from this week, I’ve been talking to a Music supervisor on a new Apple TV series. I’m not going to say anything else until everything is set in stone. I feel very lucky to have this opportunity and my nerves are in full control of my gut.
