Very cool jam. I wish I could get my stuff sounding this big without distorting. Nice work on the snare. Is that automation on it or are you layering it with something with a reverb/phaser tail at points?

Cheers! I seem to be settling on a quick routine for recording/mastering my weekly beats. I have mainly been using one device each week, with the ableton move this week, then recording quite a hot signal to ipad with a few plugs in aum, this week ALM MfX (reverb and compression) and toneboosters reelbus, with Koala Fx on a send. All the weird little fx are me playing with the koala fx live, they are quite basic fx but when mixed down a bit sound interesting, I keep thinking of automating it or doing more in time takes, but I am normally at the point of needing to get the beat submitted by the time koala comes out.

Nice. That makes sense. Some of the automation had a human feel, as in it wasn't quite the same every time. It makes sense now that you say it was ad libbed via the koala. I appreciate the deeper detail!
