Love the dark, chill vibes on this and the vocals top it off really nicely.  Nice production on this as well.  heart heart

thanks spry! we've definitely been on a similar vibe this year tonally. though i tend to fuzz things up in my mixes where you'll keep em clean and sleek. glad the vox worked for you, trying to get better at fitting them in w the other elements in any given track.

thanks a bunch! glad you liked the production, sunk a lot of time into tweaking the mix this time around, trying to put in that tender loving care.

The smooth attack on those sine plucks is so smoothing. Perfectly tweaked :]

Haha, soothing. But I guess it's smoothing as well. wink Great track, hadn't expected any less!

Vocals suit the ambience very well. What mic was used for this?

Thanks all! I used the on-board Zoom H4n mic for the vocals, was a one take affair. Tend to not spend a lot of time recording vocals because it makes me a bit nuts going for a perfect performance/recording. Best to just work with whatever's produced in the first go I find. Especially for weekly projects like this.

Great vibe o.O
Vocals and the instrument are soooo on point ~
Is keeping the breathing sounds etc. in the vocal intended though? It bothered me a little bit.

Ahhhh this is super nice/pleasant/dreamy/delightful (all the superlatives). So many tasty pitchy sounds, always gets me tongue
