Anthony's Wedding - Song 3 of 15ish

By PantherMountain on February 11, 2024 4:36 pm

Got another Lowbrow cover for this week.   This one was more of a challenge than I expected.  We had already written an acoustic version for our acoustic album in 2012, so I thought it would be an easy transition.  Not the case.  The original has a ton of movement, and it was difficult to capture the little bits that make the original stand out

Original Version

This version came out nice, but not main ceremony material. Will be background noise while everyone is getting seated.  That being said, it is the best sounding one so far.  Think I got the techniques figured out.

Used both outputs on the acoustic (I have never had two outputs before, so didn't even enter my mind), for a wider spread and very happy with the results.  I love this acoustic.  It's the first acoustic that has made me want to play acoustic.

Guitars / Bass: Parker P8 Acoustic, Tom Anderson T, Dingwall NG4
Amps: Suhr PT100 Plug, Ampeg SVT Plug
Misc: Ebow

Not sure what song to do for next week.

Very pretty!

Beautiful! I listened to the original and wow, it was something completely different big_smile

Yeah, this is a very pleasant Acoustic guitar sound. It sounds acoustic guitar pickup but this is great for the attack of the notes, it works pretty good. I really like the the pads on the background as well.

Maybe the translation isn't 10/10, but the performance certainly is.
