Unification

After a few steps into the woods he sits down, grabs his old Typewriter and starts typing in the memories of what gradfather always told him about the four passages, planets, elements and colours in the Alchemist's Magnum Opus, the Great Work to create the Philosophers Stone by Putrefaction, Purification, Transformation and finally Culmination.
1. Nigredo (Black/Saturn/Earth/Fermentation) - 2. Albedo (White/Moon/Silver/Purification) - 3. Citrinitas (Yellow/Sun/Fire/Transmutation) - 4. Rubedo (Red/Mars/Air/Unification)
Unification in alchemy, often termed coniunctio (conjunction), is the symbolic and practical merging of opposite forces—such as spirit and matter, male and female, or sun and moon—to create a unified, perfected whole, often embodied as the Philosopher's Stone or the purified, enlightened self. This, as discussed in, represents the climax of the Magnum Opus (Great Work), shifting from separation and purification to a final, harmonious synthesis of opposites.
I still can hear us both laughing and playfully shouting:
"Transform yourself into a living philosophical stone!"
"Transmuten in Vivas Lapides Philosophicus!"
