Rise Son

By Oso Feo on January 10, 2016 11:35 pm

This track was my first attempt at creating a techno track with atmospheric tracks and multiple drum tracks. Let me know what you guys think in terms of my mixing job, and my use of atmospheric sounds.

I like the juxtaposition of the atmospheric sounds with the drum samples and pattern you've got going on. Something like sidechain compressing the ambient sound to the kick might help them mesh a bit better, and it would change up the atmospheric sound depending on whether or not the drums are playing at a given moment.

Really dig the techy drums. Great moody track.

Yes, this track has a lot of energy in it. Some movement would definetely improve it without losing all that raw feel. Those ethereal strings around the middle really breathed some oxygen in it.

Por momentos, siento miedo del Oso Feo smile Espero que suba algo a su Soundcloud, joven wink

Smexy drums. The high-end percs in the middle of the piece could be a bit crisper, or have a less round sound. First third and last third are really good

i like that stealish tom going on. that rim shot is pretty dope too

it's dark and I like the beats, pretty nice one.

Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback! I will definitely try to implement the ideas into this track and the ones to come!

Thanks a lot! I will try this out later today.
