Love your strums! And it's crazy how much dedication and effort you have to make a video every week and then help me out on top of that

trumpet too! nice tones and textures here smile

That is indeed very relaxing!

Listening to this makes me feel like I'm not alone. It resonates with with what, I assume, a lot of people feel right now.. me included! Thank you for this!

Really beautiful. smile

Between the vibe of the song and "didn't feel like talking this week", definitely sounds like the type of song written from exhaustion, or at least that's what I'm inferring. Something expressive in pace with the energy level. It's a nice sleepy sounding song, the slowly strummed chords feels like slowly exhaling before taking another breath. With the added trumpet, it reminds me a lot of Kaki King (First Brain is a good example, she does the slowed down thing too with a woodwind if some sort). I wouldn't be surprised if you were already a fan of hers.

Just heart

Beautiful. heart Definitely relatable too. The sustained trumpet notes added a really pretty color to this one!

this was just lovely!! I may need to re-work it someday with you into a lo-fi trip hop thing, but as it is now, perfect vibes for resting my COVID ridden 9 year old back to health.

No need to talk when there are super soothing chords being strummed about. Really enjoyed the almost hesitant feel of the instruments. Yais I like.

this is miles away from stress. good stuff.

Just the kind of song I needed this morning. Meditative and soothing.  The tones of the guitar and brass blend well.

Very nice guitar sound, really warm tone. Enjoying this very much

this is hypnotic.  love it

Nice relaxing vibe on this one.  Hope it's not too difficult to relax!  Just when I was settling in to enjoy a nice all-guitar strum track the trumpet popped up and was a pleasant surprise.  Hope you're able to get some refreshment and replenishment this week!

I love it when you break out the trumpet. Also, I particularly like the note that you're picking on the guitar in the background, coming in around 1:00. Adds a texture that sorta backfills each time the more forward elements of the song back off.

I enjoyed the song, but I really liked the video. Very wholesome heart

This is so good. I love the trumpet and the excellent guitar playing. I also really like the video. Nice work...no need to stress smile

you did it! it's truly relaxing! (felt so natural, too, i don't get the impression of "trying hard" at all, hahaha)

The instrumentation sounds great.  Love how you start playing in sync with the video too after you got everything set up.

it's nice to see this side to you; take your time and do this whole thing on your own terms. this is a nice treat and exactly what I needed to hear this week

aren't we all. but it's good to create. keep the spirit alive. it's a powerful piece in the worldwide context, tho it might seem quite chill if taken out of context. I like that it has a bit of tension still. someday we'll look back at these and remember how we felt, and I think that's good. thanks for uploading, see ya next week smile oh and sweet video! only missing thing is doggy!

TRY HARDER!!!

Thank you. I needed to hear this track. Wednesday night, the brain is not working with too much work and stress. No inspiration, i was trying to get something on FL studio and just nothing clicks. I turned on your track and listened to it. The simplicity, the directness. And yet, the trumpet was soothing, it was like patting me on the back and saying "it's alright, just relax, enjoy the moment, it's ok, be kind". I am totally projecting. But this track made me feel better. Thank you for that.

I'd like to cuddle with this sloth and float away on that dreamy reverb.
I was on news overload, existential dread to the max... josh brought ice cream to me & said let's watch "orange drink" - what a lovely track/video!  Your jazzmaster is so pretty!  & the Trumpet is just dazzling.
We were also like Frank cozy under a quilt while we listened smile

Again love the use of the trumpet, reverb on it is stellar, that was very relaxing, another great idea for the video.

A very nice change of pace.  Really enjoyable in it's simplicity.

This is such a nice vibe and love the horns. I think I need a pure guitar track myself. I could just put this on repeat for that nice Sunday vibe.

Awesome!! Love the brass in this.

Whoa- this is really lovely, kinda like a more uplifting vibe in the style of “coil- at the heart of it all”

Wow, listening to Kaki King - First Brain right now.  So beautiful.  Yeah, I think I was really tired and really pouring that energy into the piece, especially with the rhythm which was like a “deep sign”

Oh hell yeah, I’m down for this trip-hop action.  Hope the fam is feeling better, I saw some of your updates.

Thanks for that note!  That was a tension builder - maybe the underlying tension of “trying hard” part.

Thanks!  I’m learning all kinds of little editing tricks now - I really liked that “pop-in” as well.

Thanks, it was nice to make a piece in reaction to my overachieviosity.  Glad to see people liked it!

KEDDDDDD I love your comments, they are just the best.  I am so glad that the piece spoke to you.  I need to re-listen to it and remind myself to relax consistently! (I recently put a to-do list item of FORCED RELAXATION on my calendar, HA!)

Thank you for that.

Thank you, not only does the reverb sound nice, but it blurs out a lot of my pitch errors! smile

WOW I love that song, what an exciting comparison.  Thanks so much.

Frank needs to go to Hollywood if he want's to relax. Don't do it when he wants to go to it.

I was so confused for a minute!  "Frank's going on a trip?  When?"

Then I got it
