God King

By orangedrink on November 20, 2016 11:26 pm

Ableton Live drone synth, drums from Pocket Operator PO-12, sidechain drone from PO-20, disk drive triplet + noise from PO-24.  I could have mixed/mastered this better.  I will fix it before I publicly release.  This is supposed to be a dark and droney rave.

The song is about the dark and evil motives that come from someone that views themselves as a God King.  And also the wrath that the surely incur by claiming that name.

Derek Jacobi apologizes and didn't mean to get carried away

Evil indeed, but somehow still makes me want to dance.  An evil dance!

This track has a lot of pressure... This gritty Basssynth is nice and as CosmicCairns wrote this Kick makes one wanna dance.

Good work!

Thanks buddy!  Yeah, I love the kick on those Pocket Operators.  Lot of THUMP and BUMP

Very nice track - lots of energy driving it along.

So powerful! I dig this mastering. Please don't take away that raw energy

I think I like the mastering but I feel like there is a random volume dip!?!?!?  I will just try to adjust that slightly and keep the rawwwwwness!!!

YES! Nice use of the PO's! I'm dancin' over here!

That means a lot coming from you since your synth game is strong.  Thanks!

HAHAHAHAHA - You are a true fan, this is outstanding!  Boy I wish they kept that show going!  So funny.  I have the DVD set and they keep the foul language un-bleeped.  It's pretty crazy.
