Very chill and nice visuals mowing the lawn on a nice day. Was expecting more angry music because the only anonymous phone calls I get are from telemarketers and scams.

frank's always got the best dance moves big_smile really love how this track is uplifting, but the meandery/pitch-bendy synth takes a slightly darker tone at times(especially near the end)... as if you keep it inspired, by keepin' it real heart

Holy cow, this one's captivating. Great sense of suspense and intrigue, and the beat grabbed me right away!

Excellent head-nodder of a beat and really enjoyed that synth ostinato/arpy melody.  It reminded me a bit of my favorite SNES RPG game/soundtrack, Chronotrigger.

Really sick beat! It's one of those beats I wish I could come up with because its so catchy that you can just loop it throughout the entirety of the track and just riff on it and build layers and texture and it never loses momentum. Added note: I really like the warble and pitch shifting on some of the melodic elements here, almost gives me Super Mario 64 vibes for some reason? I feel like the desert level with the pyramid has some weird pitch shifting in the soundtrack but I can't remember.

This one is probably going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the week. Really like the way the pitch shifting that comes and goes - adds a really interesting dynamic to the track.

Cool visual effects.  At some point I'd like to get into making music videos but it seems like a whole nother rabbit hole one could easily get sucked down.  I still don't know how you're doing this.  Really catchy upbeat track that brings to mind classic video games without sounding like any one in particular.  Like everyone else has already said, the occasional warbly/pitch shifted notes were a nice detail that added another level of interest.

When I started to listen to the track I got a strong depeche mode feeling that then drifted into an ‘Enola gay’-like melody. I like both so I really enjoyed your track!!

I could listen to that for way longer. Lovely.

I don't know who it is, but I enjoy the time spent together either way

Ha yes, I was thinking exactly the same. This was taking me back to "Enola Gay"! I loved that song when i was a kid. Also the beat on this track is really cool. The video is trippy. I don't remember being so taken by a lawnmowing video in my life before. smile

Awesome video, the lawn mower ride gets glitchy. I feel glitchy sometimes when I mow lawns. I get this. I also have lovely synth melodies like this flowing around the lawn. Great melody, I like the groove here. good times.

That drum beat is catchy and addictive. A really well balanced blending of synth wave sounds with a darker and moodier vibe makes the track more substantial and emotive. The video effect with Frank almost melting captures the vibe well.  Looks like old VHS tracking error.

Thank you!  ha, this is more “creepy” anonymous phone calls, I think.

That gif is totally wild!  Thanks, I’m glad it was in between upbeat and dark - I also hope the title makes it a little spooky.

Thanks!  glad it was captivating despite the repetition (or maybe because of the repetition!!)

Wow, huge compliment that you wish you could come up with it.  I was worried that it would be boring!  I was definitely jamming on it for a long time before figuring I need to rein it in.

ALSO

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Dry Dry Desert!

Awesome!  Tried to give it some variety with the warbles and pitch bends.

Thanks so much, was scrambling for an idea, but I think the bumpiness of the lawnmower and the warbles of the song actually worked.  I have NO idea how I’m doing this either - probably lots of stress binge eating and not sleeping!

Wow, what an awesome compliment.  I hadn’t heard Enola Gay in decades, what a great song.

That’s how we do it in Wisconsin - #lawncore

Thank you!  It felt “right” and I appreciate that you are confirming that.

Thanks - I love me some VHS, so that’s a big influence.  I really appreciate your thoughtful words - I feel like the video and glitch really “brought out” some of the warble sonic elements.

THANKS EVERYONE!

This is the most BOC video / sound I've heard from you yet! Really love it but I'm with Raja -- some darkness in this!

Love Frank in the video, absolutely seems dance-like in the movement, but without any false notes. Really excellent job w/ this video. (Tune's stuck in my head now...)

the steady pulsing tone, and just-a-little-bit-surprising harmony elements, keep it engaging in a lowkey trance-like way

also i don't know what that effect is in the video but i love it

Didn't read the tags until now, but I instantly thought warp records vibe, mission accomplished.

huge compliment, thank you so much!  whatever frank is paying you to be so complimentary, it's not enough smile
