This week's track presented itself as an opportunity to bitcrush a lot of things, and then it turned into a groove. Also I'd wanted to use plugins with some artificial or noisy character, so there's Ableton's Echo with the Dub Syndicate plugin (preceded by bandpass Auto-Filter with LFO), Hainbach's Wires, and Valhalla Supermassive.
Instruments: Ableton's 808 Startup drum rack, bitcrushed and downsampled with Redux, and given a touch of Max Humanizer, with automated sends to Echo and Wires. Drum rack of hand-claps, bitcrushed and downsampled, with Auto-Pan, automated send to Wires and a send to Supermassive.
Bass was a two-oscillator voice with Ableton's Operator--clean and simple, with just a touch of Wires send for space. The pad was Operator with a slow attack, and some Auto-Pan. The higher lead was based on Operator's Simple plucked-string preset, but bitcrushed, gated, and put through a low-pass Auto-Filter.
There's Full-Chain multiband compression on the output.
Title comes from the korban omer, the first observation of the 49-day Counting of the Omer.
