Spring Shed

By onezero on April 6, 2014 5:37 pm

A busy week means a quick track.  This one started as the old "I'm working and need to listen to a beat; let's just whip one up." Gradually a track formed around it.  All in-the-box Ableton Live, with some 808 and Kawai K3M, along with Operator, Electric, and Tension instruments.  I'm probably going to come to regret that brass voice, but here it is, before I can second-guess myself any more.

The title: it's spring, and this kind of started out like house, but it's not really (a) house, and you wouldn't want to live (in/with) it.  So it's shed music.

From your description, I was dreading the brass; surprise, it's very subdued and fits right in with the mellow groove.

Garden shed.

Thanks!  Listening to it again...I think I probably should have let it go on a bit longer before the ending, which seems abrupt now.

Garden shed!  For variations, I could use AudioMulch. And I probably missed an opportunity to boast about how many hoes I have.  I'll have to find out if people want mower of this stuff.

He he...

Shoot you should never miss an opportunity to boast about how many hoes you have.  Oh yeah and great track, very fun and playful
