Llangernyw Yew

Another one done in two late-night sessions, Friday and Saturday. I'd started late Friday with the first motif you hear in the right channel, and used my typical process of responding to a motif, responding to that, muting one, responding to the remaining context, and so on. By late Saturday...I was thinking that there wasn't much happening with this one, and I'd have to write a lot more material Sunday. Turns out...this one just came together. I was apparently failing to hear this thing correctly. (There were a few editing tweaks here and there, with section crossovers and levels...and shortening a bit. But not a lot of labor there.)
Recording: PureSalem Mendiola into the UA Volt 1. Friday night's sections included Reuss Effects Understate, though plugging in a pedal seemed like too much trouble Saturday. (I've become quite lazy about this.) There's convolution reverb on here, and the usual compression/EQ on the main stereo channels.
The title comes from the 4000- or 5000-year-old Llangernyw Yew, in the village of Llangernyw, on the A548.
