Leasowe

The product of a late-Friday and late-Saturday session with the PureSalem Mendiola. I've had it in mind to work on something that barely exists, something as minimal as possible...and this isn't it. I'll start in that direction, but end up playing more melodic and chordal parts, so here's a pretty summer-vibe kind of piece. (I'll get to something more sparse, I'm sure.) This piece is in keeping with the other all-guitar pieces, and I keep thinking I'm lifting motives from other ones, but it does seem to be itself and not a pastiche.

The usual signal chain: guitar into converter into Ableton, some convolution reverb and compression/eq on the mix. Still haven't changed strings.

The title comes from Leasowe beach in Liverpool, off the A553.

you took me to the beach in Liverpool, very kind of you

what a lovely stroll

You can only do so much with the guitar tracks, but every time it's nice. It's fairly minimal as well; it's just three guitar tracks after all.
Maybe if it were two.
