Hours of Light

By onezero on September 6, 2020 9:43 pm

An all-in-the-box track in which I started playing with a lot of new software synths, and rejected nearly all of them. One remains: some accents from Ableton's WaveTable, which I haven't used in a track before. Otherwise, it's all Ableton Operator, including the drum rack.

Sends: One to Valhalla Supermassive, one Delay (with some filter adjustment) and one Echo.  Inline effects: some Drum Buss on the drums, some auto-pan on a couple synths, the pad track going straight to Supermassive instead of direct out.

Title comes from the tradition that the light on the first day of creation shone for 36 hours.

oooooo all in the box interestinggggg

I like the pan hi hat ticks

good round sine bass as well

drum buss is my favorite smile

the super gentle high notes at 3:10 are really pretty

Sounds mildly industrial. I wonder what it'd be like if it sounded mostly industrial instead.

this is really fun - i like mix - the distorted bits are so cool
