Hallucigenia

This bassline insisted on being recorded.  Mid-week I had a couple syncopated drum beats (initially 606, but I swapped it out for the 64-pad Rock Kit), and wasn't sure what else to do with them. One night right before going to sleep, an idea for a bassline appeared that I didn't want to lose, so I got a version of it down. Late in the week, I added to them, and put down a bunch of clean and distorted guitar (Res-o-Glas > Reuss RF-01 > Vox Wah). There's also some Electric piano in there as well.  I ended up assembling this collage-style, though unusually I started by recording a session of turning clips on and off.

Inlines: clean guitars got Auto-Filter with drive and Cabinet, bass got the usual EQ-8 with -9db rolloff below 150Hz.

Sends: two Echo returns, one with Auto-Filter on LFO in front, and one convolution reverb with high-pass Auto-Filter in front.

Title comes from the ancient animal Hallucigenia, which could have 14 legs.

Sweet bass riff. Love love love the dub vibe and the wah filters on the guitar. The echo effects are killer! Downloaded and faved!

Nice one, feels alive with that bass.
