Heatwave - LSDJ/Nanoloop2/Guitar

By ONE HIT KILL on January 25, 2026 3:03 pm

Knocked some rust off the dual gameboy setup that is my staple. Has been a good while.
Have played heaps of guitar this week so had to include it in some way.
Easy element is doing very little really but together they make the song.

LSDJ;mostly break samples, bit of bass
Nanoloop2; drum machine, bass
Guitar; noodling around in E double harmonic minor a.k.a. the byzantine a.k.a. the surf rock a.k.a the pulp fiction scale.

Love the guitar in this! Pairs perfectly with the beats. Awesome track!

Whoa, this is gnarly. The bass sounds are especially tasty. Guitar adds cool vibes.

You feeling it too then, got down to 36 here last night

Cool to hear the guitar back in the tracks

Love all the howling distortions in the bass synths!

What an awesome combo! Start is bonkers with the face-wobbling bass and guitar scratch noises. Then we building with a guitar line and heavier beat. Now shit is going crazy. DnB LSDJ with guitar is a serious vibe. Love this track, well done!

thanks so much for the kind words everyone, much appreciated. Definitely need to explore this guitar gameboy setup some more this year, always seems to get positive responses.

Now that I've tried Nanoloop I have new appreciation for what you do. Everything you write is such a jam, and this is no exception. The guitar is indeed, very cool
