This is a loose contrapunal piece between an acoustic 8 tone folk instrument and the electronic version of a stringed folk instrument with an undercurrent of synthesis based on the two.

This sounds like after a massive rainstorm, when the sun comes out immediately and everything is still wet, water still rushes down the street, and large drops fall from trees and buildings as though it's still raining.
