This is my first composition for weekly beats this year. It’s not my best mix because I have covid and tend to fall asleep during mixing. At least I didn’t erase it.

I love the sporadic chromaticism, and the feeling that these four musicians are together and playing together but not entirely paying attention to one another. Also one of them is a percussionist with only a suspended cymbal and a gong.
