Drums and More Part Deaux

By OleJazzer on June 11, 2018 12:01 am

I haven't submitted anything for a while because of life the universe and everything. Anyway I was playing around with Cubase 9.5 Elements. I was watching their you tube videos on drum kit making and it is not as easy as Protools but it works. I added in a string section and electric piano all on 9.5. It is really strange to use fake instruments. Even the fretless bass is fake  - go figure. The guitar is not. I needed a melody so I improvised a little something just dry through my tascam US-4X4 into my computer using my les paul. I used the neck pickup the whole time. The difference in tonality in the middle is because the pickups are center tapped 57 classic humbuckers so you either get a single coil like a fender or a dual coil like a gibson. Both pickups are that way, I like it a lot. BTW, when I recorded it there was not any distortion but when I listened to it again there was a little.
