Big Shot

Music is sculpting in sound for me. This is the result of me sculpting in sound this week. I intended to do a song. I didn't have the time to do it the way I wanted so instead I did this. This is strangely highly meaningful to me however you would most likely have to be me to understand why. It was done completely with my guitar synthesizer. The pickup is on my American made Stratocaster Plus. The synth is a Roland GR-33. I tweaked the sounds a little.

It’s always cool the sounds we can make with guitars with different effects.

I had just put the pickup back on my Stratocaster and was checking it out. So I wrote a tune then recorded a strings track, a keyboard track and a percussion track. I’m having fun with this. Thanks for encouraging me to join.

Cool variety of sounds, considering it came from a single source.  It also has a bit of a spooky/haunting element.  I could see it being used as a film score.

Thanks. It’s good to compose again.
