Commute

By OK Ikumi on January 15, 2012 9:49 pm

Twice a week I drive through the mountains to work at this print shop. I recorded a drone I made through the car speakers on one of my drives and built this krautrock jam around it. All sounds sourced from my microcassette recorder. Instruments used: Korg ER-1, Casiotone MT-68, guitar, noise synth.

great song. i guess you're sequencing with MIDI? or multitrack recording your synths?

Crazy inspiring.

this is beautiful.

you are on a roll

@chroma: I recorded each part individually on a microcassette recorder, and then pieced everything together in a multitrack program.

Another amazing OK Ikumi track. Definitely looking forward to yours every week
