Invasion of the Notorious Moose Pirates (Ryan Cover)

Surf is just black metal on a clean guitar.

To prove this I asked the master of all things surf, Ryan, for permission to cover one his awesome weekly beats surf tunes from 2018. But in total Ryan style, he would only agree if I provided vocals too. So it turned into a music store collab. Ryan wrote the original, provided awesome artwork and played keyboards, I programmed drums, Metal Vox and guitars/bass. But I needed an actual singer for the Core 10 (look them up for a laugh) Joke. So Jai hooked me up with some proper clean vocals too. Now it is Black Surf Complete.

Lyrics:

Is it Moose or Meeses? These pirate meese have torn this town to pieces
Invading, evading, wearing eye patches, running around in large moose batches

Notorious, nefarious, full of moose glee, the invasion of the pirate meese, obliteratingly
Demanding, astounding, what have we done? The treasures, these meese have won

One Nation, Under Meese

Surf meese, land meese, curved pirate swords
Destroying, confusing, with their moose words
Challenging, twisting, making fat moose rhymes
This is how I like to spend my time

One Nation, Under Meese

Very dank! Love it.

This is awesome and it's neat to see how closely related surf and metal really are.

This is awesome dude, love the lyrics and the artwork!

Surf is metal on a clean guitar, surf is death metal on a clean guitar and downers. The reverse is also true, metal is just surf without the distortion. Nice one.

This is super mega awesome. Laughed my ass off as right at the beginning "Is it moose... Or MEEESESSSSSS" lol. In all seriousness, the mix on this is really good, fits right in with traditional black metal records I listen to.

So much better than the original

Love the lyrics. Surfing blood waves!!

Is it metal? Is it surf? I don't think I mind! =oP
