Shall I Compare

By Machine Gun Ibiza on February 1, 2020 11:04 am

This week i was busy producing for a friend of mine. He provided me with the chords, melody and lyrics to his song Shall I Compare. I made this version for him, and put my voice on it as a layout for him to learn the phrasing. I think it's a quite nice little ditty...

Very nice melody and chords for this, and I really like the restrained performance here, too.

The song Pink Floyd forgot to write. This is sooooo good.

A beautiful song. Well done on the performance, your voice is very nice.

Beautiful! You've got a great singing voice! I also have a thing for a nice acoustic guitar recorded close enough to hear the fingers and slides, it adds warmth!

Wonderful performance.

thanks so much. never considered myself much of a singer...

Well done on the vocals and harmonies. Also liked how you held back on the bass until halfway through followed by drums and then unfold the arrangement.  Really propels the song forward in interesting ways.  Very solid!

nice piece of summer in deep winter - very pretty!
