Fuzz Drone

3 riffs, 5 minutes lol.

This was mostly about a tone I was looking for, fuzz, octave and wah, not the stoner/acid etc vibe but more traditional rock type of thing. But also totally wanted to do the guitar organ thing for the end.

Sort of comes from people who say "you shouldn't use too much gain" but have a boost, overdrive and fuzz pedal into a slightly overdriven amp telling other people they use too much gain. Like seriously dude, that shit stacks I hate to tell you. Metal bands get it because we have one or two sources of distortion pushed quite high, but 3 or 4 sources pushed into each other is totally another form of high gain. Then I layered some octave pedals, just to make it even more beefy.

Pedals for today:
Fuzzguts: Can't even remember what this is based on, but its thick and shaggy, not a splatty vintage fuzz, plays nicely with humbuckers.
Finn Drive: Blues Driver circuit that I ran a bit lean, modded the clipping so it was a bit gentler than the standard blues driver, notable because its a good sounding boss distortion
Vox Big Bad Wah: Joe Satriani Signature wah, very adaptable, with heaps of options and modes, used mostly as the 'cocked' wah sound, so a resonant peak type thing, not the usual wacka wacka thing.
TC Sub n Up: A POG ripoff, but most likely the most popular version now, the POG aint cheap, and this does the organ guitar thing real good for not many dollars, As well as adding the fat low end octave thing when you turn the Up controls down.
The Kidney: A Clone of some Earthquaker POG knockoff, but like most EQD pedals its all fucked up and wibbly wobbly, they just can't help themselves that company.
