The Well-Tempered Seagull

This is polyphony from monophony week! All single note passes hand played from a Arturia MicroBrute one track at a time using panning from a western orchestra and approximating acoustic sounds (triangle wave for strings, square wave for woodwinds, saw tooth for brass). Some additional clicks and noise from the internet for a little dirty something. The middle movement uses the microbrute's internal "sequencer" which is really, barely a programmable arppegiator. Effects and mixing in Logic.

This little synth makes some cool sounds.  I dig the classical feel of the beginning and the quite ominous vibe towards the end.

Very JS Bachian; love the transition into an alien soundscape.

Lmao, love the title. Great work on the different lines! The second half is really cool, I love the panning you did heart

I like the pink floydish vibes in the end. The piece is evolving all the way and I didn't get bored. Big thumbs up for analog hardware aswell, great synthesis.

That is indeed very well behaved. Seagulls are assholes.

really cool piece! cool
