Stay With Me

By NWSPR on March 20, 2022 10:02 pm

This week I'm 100% virtual synths performed on the Arturia HateStep Pro® (trademark Orange Drink, patent pending).  I didn't have a chance to record vocals because I kept messing around having fun with these instruments. It has a bit of an 80s New Wave sound to it, which is really unusual for me smile

Hope everyone is doing well... Spring is here!

Oooh I like the variety of sounds in this.  Def getting those new wave vibes with the synth brass and bell lead.  The synths that come in around 1:30ish sound awesome.  Nice drum fills too with those sweet effects.  This was super catchy.  Nice work!

This covers a lot of ground but remains constantly uplifting and catchy.  I'm getting lots of positive vibes off it.
It does seem like it could soundtrack an 80's movie.

hrrm. maybe i should get my hatestep pro out for some hatestep as well smile  cool track

Lot of 80ies flashbacks and it makes me a little sad, to realize, how old we are now. It is like a soundtrack of my life 40 years ago. Thank you for that.

Very fun track. It is so great to know that with a 1K$ computer (even less would do the trick), maybe 3-400$, less if you dig into freeware , a 100$ cheap midi controller that we have access to that much tools and sound palette...

In the 80's, a Yamaha dx7 was 2K$... dexed is free.

This is pretty awesome. It is indeed a really fun track with loads of interesting sounds in it.

FULL 80s after the midway mark!  Nice work on nailing that.

That's a beautiful trip to good 80s music. It takes me also to the tracks that Gab Manette used to make in early 2020. So many good layers, between the bell sounds, the synth, the drums, brass. It's really a trip!

I was thinking the same.  I learned a lot from listening to Gab's music and like to channel the Gab Manette sound from time to time. He was our WB master 80s synthwave!

I could never abandon this amazing song.

Very nice, I"ll stick with it. The synth that sounds like a horn is particularly nice, nice build up into some very motivational moments, raise the fist in the air. Glad the HateStep Pro worked again ... This makes me ready for spring.

Me & your music, after hearing like 4 of your WB:
