I Miss Your Arms Around Me

By NWSPR on April 29, 2018 11:57 pm

This week I was working on an electronic track with hand claps, laser beams, and lots of synths. Then I ditched it because it was driving me crazy and did something I guess I wanted to do. A somber track about missing someone even if they're sitting next to you all along. Guitar, bass, harmonica, drum machine, and vocals all played real loose and casual. I really liked it for a change of pace and a song I could relax with.  Hope you like it!

I not only like it, I love it. Perfectly mixed!

really great mid-tempo work! interesting to hear those classic NWSPR vocals over a track so mellow & folk-country-ish: an experiment that turned out really lovely. Gives me Alex G vibes!

Yeah this is nice.  Has a rustic feel.  The harmonica sounds amazing and the vocals are relaxed and warm.  Great stuff.

Wonderful synergy between the vocals and your choice of instruments (really dig that organ)! Good feels smile

very nice song. vocals remind me of mark arm, mudhoney.

Love it! That organ sound is real good!

It's great for that moment when you suddenly lack object permanence.

Sounds great!

oh that's such a difficult feeling to sit with - i like the harmonica

cool track! i like the mood it delivers a lot. you're clearly very talented with the synths as well (based on your other tracks), but i like the guitar work and general vibe here. mixing is really good too
