Dude yes! It has a spectacular old school hardcore feel. The pitched vocals, the filter sweeps, the break. If I didn’t already have a mohawk, I’d be giving myself a Keith Flint one right now.

I would play this out right now. It’s so good.

Daaaang... I'm particularly loving the high pitched vocals from 1:20 to 2:00! I think I'm just particularly fond of high-pitched cursing, hahahaha....

I ain't broken YET!!!

Loooooove how much transformation happens throughout. Great energy, awesome effects scattered everywhere. Never a dull moment. So good

really good mix, sounds great on my setup

why was this track not called BRKing point

smile smile smile

Those jumpy piano stabs at 1:30 are *everything* omggg, right into the vocal chops too!! You're so good!!!

Killer!

Lovely breaks. I listened to Acen's 75 mins so much. This takes me back.

Sounds great, all about them breaks!

this sounds amazing! crispy breaks and a tight mix. favorited and downloaded

Hahah I had this playing on repeat at work today. Nice breaks big_smile

yesss oldskool!

Love that changeup around 2:00. Such tight break cutting, can tell you know your shit when it comes to drum programming.

Ending is nice and psycedelic too 🤘

This is some high energy stuff right here! Super tight break chopping! I really enjoyed the intro with the wavey pitch-bendy pad and the pitch-shifted and timestretched(?) vocal effects?

I think this is one of my favorites from this year of your stuff. Love it how it gets sickly and falls apart at the end. Perfect finish.

ahh, thanks so much for the kind words -- The first two Prodigy records have always been a huge influence for me. RIP Keith ❤️

thanks dude, been doing some deep listening sessions with my favorite oldschool hardcore and jungle tunes and really trying to pick apart the techniques -- and then figuring out how to twist them up with some modern techniques as well.

thanks for the kind words, appreciate you giving it a listen! had to make sure the outro delivered on the track title 💀

This is the loudest track I've heard on Weekly Beats. -4.970 LUFS, daaamn! Spotify recommends producing at -14 LUFS, I'm targetting -11 LUFS myself, but if it's -8.5 I won't bother correcting. But I don't think I have ever produced anything below -5 LUFS big_smile

Agreed with others that the production here is flawless. The amounts of reverb and delay are just right, the drum breaks are delicious. The bass tom in particular is godlike. And yes, definitely early the Prodigy vibes here! "Out Of Space" comes to mind especially.

I'll take your brain to another dimension
Pay close attention

I didn't believe you and I ran it through Youlean Loudness Meter and got the same result.  wow!

I really need to run some of my favorite albums through loudness meters to see what I should be doing.  My stuff sounds WAY too quiet if I shoot for -14.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those breakbeats are sick. I always enjoy the contrast between a peaceful pad and hard breakbdeats. That vocal adds a layer of levity. Digging that track a lot.

Awesome power. I am impressed.

Hell yeah, this is my kind of jungle.

This is the kind of Jungle that holds my attention all the way through by never running out of interesting things to say.  The mix sounds fantastic.
