Roland's Jam

By noggin on March 13, 2022 9:08 pm

Little lazy Sunday jam recorded with the kid's guitar out on the back porch
To elucidate… I got this guitar for ~$2 from the trash store (I have a whole other song about that), the riff came out during lunch one day, and I worked it out throughout the week Then I made the beat in the m8, and finally sat outside and laid the guitar down direct to sample on Sunday afternoon.
Hope y’all dig it

Heeeeey, sounds like the last half-hour of sunshine. Great guitar work as usual, and damn, dude, that beat.

You're making me so jelly I can't play on anything but my wife's nerves. This is a sound unachievable to me and I want to use it for a roadtrip video. Gotta start with the roadtrip though. Feels like I've been sitting on my arse for years.

That guitar is way cheaper than the rich sounds of this song. Well done.

Love this track! It feels so joyous and uplifting.

Thanks that was kind of the goal this round!

such a peaceful mood. Love this track.

Wow, lovely little riff and excellent tones, especially from a $2 trash guitar!! I would never have guessed the beat was M8 - the programming is very loose and naturally. Great work.

Very warm and relaxed groove. Great playing.

The "looseness" (is that a proper word) of this track in amazing. The feeling is perfect!

Takes me back to Beck's commercial breakthrough, on cassette smile
