The detune is "Tape Mello Fi" which I'd never really used before, but now I really love. It's the tape emulation section from Arturia's Melotron plugin broken out into an effect. It basically makes everything sound like it's being played on the tapeloop of a broken melotron which is kind of awesome.

I feel like this song declares its identity loud and clear right around 1:30ish, when that slower plucked counter-melody enters and shifts the groove in an amazing way - somehow that one melody really unites the off-key detuned playground that's happening into a really focused moment. Which then primes us for another little bridge of delightfully unpredictable. This works really well, very groovin' lol
