transmission failure (interlude 2)

Note: probably needs headphones.

Another week where I simply ran out of time - had a track on the go in Ableton and realized a rushed 1-hour job would have been disastrous, and well, disrespect the track. So next week.

This is a musical idea I've been composing for a long time and rarely recorded, decided to give it a concrete form. Lyra8 is providing the background transmission-errors, a bit of piano for the main melody, and a few samples at the end there. Simple but I like it. Threw this all together in an hour saturday night and polished it quickly sunday afternoon, so not bad!

Oh snap, this is so dramatic and moody! Amazing! I could easily see this being used to score a super intense scene in a film. The piano playing here is SUPER well done too, great job. Such a pretty way to close the track out, too. Very nicely done all around!!!

Gyaaaah.....chills, man. Chills. Beautiful chord voicing, and the melody is given all the space it needs to breathe. Love that noise bed...beauty in the dirt.

incredibly beautiful & comforting track, neon. glad i put headphones on. i could stay here all day  heart

Oh hell yeah. The texture in the background is so tasty and the chords feel great. The swells and rain sounds are amazing as well. This is a joy to listen to.

really nice track! the mix is perfect, powerful but lots of space to shine

Thank you! I played it for an old piano teacher and he wants me to make a film ... which is fine cuz I do that too so I guess I'd better dust off the DSLR lol

Thank you! I love the beauty in the dirt too. Lyra takes some taming for that but it's sooo rich.

Very glad you liked it! Nerd brain of mine keeps tweaking the piano, so this might not be the final form.

heart thank you, that is a very welcome compliment, I always struggle with the mix on my stuff!

This feels like bittersweet melancholy, it's so pretty
