Hahaha, one of these weeks I will heed my little notes to myself, something to the effect of "three distinct movements/sections, don't just build energy up towards a climax" but no, no. And I'd been working on it all week then waking up today it was "nope this is terrible" and changed the whole arrangement.

Mental notes to myself to work on more interesting bass lines and better drum patterns, cuz I'm definitely falling back on standards. That being said, this turned out pretty good. Little Playbox sample sequence at the end.

You can dance to it, that's for sure.

Hmm, I've been mostly doing "build towards a climax" tracks myself, so it's a good point to try and break with that, at least for a while.

You make it sound like you didn't listen to your advice this week but there's definitely more going on here than just a simple build up towards a single finale. There's at least two separate themes here, and there's a break in the middle. Sure, it's hard to avoid getting shoehorned into a consistent track with an acid line looping across it, but I think you're not giving yourself enough credit here.

this is hot! love the structure and the sound design but mostly it just got me moving and my heart beating. favorited and downloaded

Awesome!

This is just right

Big sounding and groovy! Digging the EBM-like drive in the bass when it kicks off.
