peculiar wake

I spent more time at the vet this week than I did at home or sleeping. Dogs should be okay.

This is an ambient musical hot-tub I had simmering on the M8. It is nothing special. Mostly just live-sampling into the M8 and then some very scattered "arrangement". Nothing but a master in Ableton post-M8, and I rendered mixed on the M8 so there's probably mix issues but I am out of time.

This is so warm and welcoming. Instantly calmed by the presence of the rain.
So lush and full with amazing instrument choices. Just beautiful.

Oh, that rain sound is a mood. Perfect.

Great sound choices. That string swell is amazing. It may not have been “intentional” in the arrangement, but it comes across that way. Your ambient tracks always paint such a vivid picture.

Sending healing thoughts for your doggo - I hope he’s ok.

love to you and the doggos heart

thank you for this beautiful ambient bath. a good reminder to catch my breath.

Very nice calming ambient mood. Best wishes to your dog. Hope he will be fine.

Oh, this is a lovely environmental piece... that resonate voice that comes up at about 1:04 and like threatens to break apart before reseeding... sets such a nice tone for the whole piece... like it establishes a quite threat of tension, without overwhelming the peacefulness of the rest of the track.  Gives it juuuuuuuust the right amount of edge to make the quiet moments that much more impactful, and the when low "strings" maybe rise up it just has such a strongly emotive quality... like because of those subtle touches at the beginning... this is a masterful piece. I could totally see this being score for an emotional "tears in the rain" type Bladerunner scene.  Well done.

Dang, it was literally just raining here a min ago so i thought it was picking up again yikes  Love the mood of this instantly and those strings oooof hit so nicely.  Something about your music is just so cinematic, that's why a few weeks ago I was getting HEAT imagery and such.  This evokes a similar feel with how the strings fade in and out among the synth tones.  Like I'm watching the main character in a blue tinted lens go thru a life changing moment as they try to piece things together.  I politely disagree this is a special track.  The lil guitar nuances that peak in with that percussive thud oof yais!  The strings are friggin beautiful I could listen to this and just drift off happily.  Hope everything with you and your dog get better soon.  Also yes Napear nailed it, it has a certain 'tears in the rain' quality to it as well.  Bravo!

This one is all about that rain, sets the tone and like how it remains throughout, very nice arrangement allowing all the sounds to take their time to unfold.  All the best to you and your dog, hope you get some rest.

lovely vibes and sounds good overall

Always coming back to a story somehow lol. Dogs are doing well - recovering - but it's always rough for older pups.

Thank you! heart The pups are doing well. HEAT is such a monster of a film for dramatic moments where the score is everything ... I've been trying to find the soundtrack again and I can't, but I swear I have it on CD somewhere. Creatively I think just about everything I do comes down to a story of some sort, I think that's why I lean towards the cinematic. Glad you enjoyed it smile
