Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

So excited to see what everyone did this week. This one was not a struggle like last week was. I used renoise, Neutron, an Amen break, and a vocal sample from freesound (attribution below). Happy with this one!

Wow just that bass synth organ at the start then into the break had me smiling.... and the vocals? Fantastic. Really felt like you were "breaking free" with this one. Also, mix feels beautifully balanced, really clean and even. Awesome.
Whoooaaa vocals. Yeah I love the energy of the drums/percussion especially. The big synth keeping it simple is so effective as well.
Fantastic chosen sample. The track gives me a “theme of yoyo” by art ensemble of Chicago feeling. Very good.
